All members welcome - no need to sign up, just turn up! Its a very social tournament!

Men’s and Ladies Doubles - UPDATE 23/4/24
The Men’s Tournament is completed with huge congratulations to John Brooks and Gordon Cordeiro who won all three of their games.
The Ladies Tournament is at the semi final stage with Lynda Hill and Sharon Box (who defeated Sarah Grey and Carole Hunt) awaiting the winners from Wendy Ball and Tricia Cozens versus Sue Brown and Jane Ker-Reid.

A Sunny Start to the Season
Last Saturday, 20th April, the annual spring Hurlingham Tournament announced the start of the 2024 season at Bude Tennis Club.
This social mixed doubles tournament saw nineteen members compete in perfect conditions; sunny with blue skies and relatively little wind. The standard of play matched the glorious weather with some very close fought games. In joint second place for the ladies were Margaret Slator and Sarah Grey (17 points) and the winning lady with 18 points, Joan Coney who has incidentally, won the last five tournaments held in this format! In second place for the men was Josh Schouten de Jel (21 points) and joint winning men with 24 points each were Pete Simon and Adrian Riddock.
Following the presentation of the shield, members enjoyed a tasty buffet sitting out in the lovely weather.
