Bude Tennis Club

Bye-Laws

 1.    No singles or doubles shall exceed 1 short set when any person is waiting to play

 2.    Suitable sports clothing and footwear must be worn at all times. Anyone not observing this rule may be asked to leave the courts.

 3.    Members may invite a non-member to play within the club up to 3 times during any season. The member will be responsible for payment of the fee to the club.

 4.    Tennis balls knocked out of the court must be retrieved immediately.

 5.    Nets must be tied up by the last persons on court at the end of evening play and balls returned to the ball cupboards in the clubroom. Each court to be responsible for locking the balls away.

Club Room

1.    Admittance to the clubroom is restricted to club members and their invited guests.

 2.    The last senior member to leave the clubroom will be responsible for ensuring that both the inner and outer doors are locked.

 3.    Junior members may only use the clubroom if a senior member is present at the club. Juniors must behave appropriately and responsibly at all times.

 4.    No smoking in the clubroom.

 5.    Alcohol is not to be consumed in the clubroom.

 6.    No animals in the clubroom.

 7.    All members are responsible for keeping the clubroom clean and tidy.

 8.    Keys to the clubhouse may be purchased by senior club members, repayable when the member returns the key.

 9.    Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available on occasions in the clubroom. Payment will be on an honesty basis.
